Risk Assessment

Every employer is required to make ‘a suitable and sufficient’ assessment of the risks to both their employees and others who come into contact with your place of worship. Self employed people, such as the clergy must assess the risks to their own health and others.

A risk assessment is simply a careful examination of what, in your work, could cause harm to people, so that you can decide whether you have taken enough precautions or whether you should do more.

Risk Assessments should be made and significant findings recorded.
