adventure activitiesDoes your organisation offer adventure activities or do you organise trips to activity centres?

Please note that we do not expect to provide liability insurance for your own organisation of dangerous or hazardous activities and if in doubt, you should contact our Church Department for advice.

If youare using a centre or other provider you should check they are properly licensed by phoning the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority on 029 2075 5715 or visiting
http://www.aals.org.uk/

Check with the provider that they have suitable liability insurance. Ensure that you are happy with the safety precautions, the standard of equipment used, first aid facilities and that they can cope with any special needs of your participants.

For information to assist voluntary organisations who need to understand the Adventure Activities Licensing Scheme, see:
http://www.aals.org.uk/info_schools.html

If you are providing these activities yourself, you can get further information on your responsibilities at:
http://www.aals.org.uk/info_providers.html

(You will need to check with your insurer if you need liability insurance for such activities).
